Zip Lines were originally developed by scientists to gain easy access to the tree tops and forest canopies in order to study the animals that live there. Cedar Lake Camp has designed outdoor education programs that utilize the unique access of the forest and canyons that only a zip line provides. The lines are used to transport a group from place to place to experience the outdoor environment and gain a perspective from the tree top canopy that cannot be otherwise experienced from the ground.
